MEN’S MINISTRY
At First Baptist Church we believe men must lift each other in the Christian journey. Our American culture has taught men that we need to be strong and independent GI Joe types with no help needed from anyone else. Unfortunately, that ideology has seeped into church culture as well and men often feel they must wear a spiritual mask and hide any struggles or weaknesses (and even celebrate things) from other men. The truth is we can’t really come alongside a brother, or others lift us up, if we aren’t honest with each other. That why we aim to offer opportunities for men to share times in God’s Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with each other.
